Nanoptronics Research Center   Nanoptronics is a field that combines the study of Nano, Optics, Quantum and Electronics, entailing three scientific branches and four technology fields. The need for establishing this research institute became evident as attention to scientific and human developed requirements increased. The NRI aims to provide a national perspective, medium & long-term period programs, and specialization of electronics sciences and interscience. The NRI was established as an extension to IUST’s School of Electrical Engineering.
